Our story begins with the Blevins brothers, Brad, Gary and Eric, who decided to ditch their landscaping business and follow their taste buds to the sandwich and bakery world. They mixed in some borrowed capital and a whole lot of sweat equity to take over an 800-square-foot submarine sandwich shop in Bethany, Oklahoma.
Today, we're proud to say that we've won multiple awards for our mouth-watering sandwiches and bakery treats. But our success isn't just about the food. We're a tight-knit family, and we've poured our hearts and souls into creating a relaxed, fun work atmosphere that's empowered each of our employees to provide the best service possible.
The City Bites® formula for success centers around the direct involvement of the Blevins Brothers by being hands-on operators with constant contact with management, employees and customers. City Bites® is proud to provide a work atmosphere that is relaxed and empowering to each employee with the ability to satisfy each and every customer. In October 2023, City Bites® will celebrate 37 years of business thanks to loyal customers who've named us the #1 Deli in Oklahoma. We strive toward becoming the Best Deli in the country one day!
Remembering Brad, a Sandwich Legend and City Bites® Co-Founder
Brad Blevins, one of the founding members of City Bites®, passed away on October 29th, 2022, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, passion and kindness. Brad's humor and wit were integral in creating the quirky and unforgettable restaurant interiors that City Bites® is known for.
Brad's love for his family was unmatched. He was a devoted father to his son Beck, and a loving grandfather to his granddaughters Kaylee and Reyna. Brad's siblings Mark, Gary, Eric and Anne will miss their brother dearly.
Brad's passion for City Bites® was evident in everything he did. His dedication and love for the business helped shape it into the beloved sandwich shop it is today. He was proud to call Oklahoma home and was deeply invested in the local community. Brad's legacy will continue to live on through City Bites®, a company he poured his heart and soul into. His impact on the business and on Oklahoma will not be forgotten.
